New Things.

Ahhh followers of mine I apologise for my disappearance, I spent my summer in California with my wonderful boyfriend who I don't get to see much so I wasn't really motivated to blog. Plus I left my DSLR at home. :(
But I'm back now... with goodies to share!

So first of all I got this gorgeous flask necklace, I love turquoise and old school vintage looking jewellery. When I saw the necklace I had to have it! However it turns out...it's actually a coke flask, my boyfriend was convinced the lid comes off so I tried to get it off and alas there was a little powder spatula.
Price: $5.00 at a flea market.

I also got an adorable ring for $1.00 but I've misplaced it. Boo.

Love these, I got them for my Birthday from Republic, they have a lot of jewellery in at the moment.
Price: Around £5.00 I think!
These adorable earrings were from Pac Sun, the missing ones are cream coloured. I have them on at the moment!
Price $6.00
I forgot what this bracelet is called, apprently the beads have a name. But I love the uniqueness of it, quiet strange too. I got this from a random stall on July the 4th.
Price: $3.00

I also bought so many summery dresses but their waiting for me in California right now. They won't be much use here in England at the moment. I think my favourite buy was the flask necklace, and now it has a story behind it too. Anyone else bought something that's surprised you?

It's so pretty!

I'm late on the Urban Decay Naked palette but although it's sold out everywhere I had to turn to ebay for one so I have one on the way now! Little after clicking that bid button I realised it's not limited edition in the USA which is where I am now so I could have got one for the RRP price! ah welll.

Another UD palette I'm thinking of getting is the Book of shadows Vol III NYC pallette. I love (LOVE) the USA so it's a great tribute.

It's beautiful! I have the Alice In wonderland palette and compared to that one this seems to have a bigger variety of different and brighter colours and the detail in the 'NYC' is amazing.
In the US it's out after Labor day on urban decay.com and October the 1st everywhere else. (Apparently) and in the UK it's already available for 30 pounds on debenhams.com!
I'm really drawn to getting this one, I like that it's city inspired...I'd love to see a Cali palette.
Anyone else have either of the palettes?

Summer Ride

So this past week has been the summer that I thought wasn't going to come in England.
It actually feels like I'm on holiday somewhere, the day's have been beautiful and now of course I don't expect it to last for long but I've missed it... Everyone outside in their gardens, birds tweeting, dreaded green flies, the smell of bbq's, ice cream..everything.

For me sunshine brings out my bike, how I love cycling alongside the countryside views with the warm sun shining on me and the cool breeze you get as you go down a hill.
And then of course you have to stop by at a shop and get the legendary Ice pops..

The first time in years I had one of these! and of course you can't forget the home made ice lollies you make in those moulds.
Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend.

Alicia Keys...Un-Thinkable

I've always been a fan of her music, but recently I've been absolutely loving every new song she comes out with. like Empire State of mind which makes me miss NY and the US in general.
She's incredibly gorgeous, she can actually sing (amazingly) live unlike many artists all over the radio and TV and she's just plain damn talented!
I've been loving this song so much that I've had it on in loops. The official video isn't out yet but I know the lovely Chad Michael Murray will be in it..

Anyone else love her?
