So it was the smell that pulled me into buying this. I'm a huge fan of vanilla scents and this moisturiser smells like my favourite M&S yoghurt..yum I could eat it!
I have combination skin and especially during the winter it can get dry but I wouldn’t say it’s really sensitive. So immediately after washing my face and my skin is feeling tight and awful so I get some celestial on and instantly I feel better. The moisturiser is light and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy at all, the smell isn’t overpowering either its just delicious to be honest.
£9.96 for 45g it doesn't really seem like you get much for what your paying for and I've had this for about a month and have used it morning and night and have used almost half the tub. I’d definitely buy this moisturiser again just because I enjoy the scent but I do love trying new products and I'm sure there could be something cheaper on the market that is just as good.
So White £1.75- Bath Ballistic
Lush Description: Make a frothy blanket of apple-scented 'snow' for your bath. So White is the love-child of a Ballistic and Bubble Bar union. Rather than fizzing into nothing, it leaves behind a fresh snowfall on the water. Rose absolute is lovely for dry, rough or mature skins, allowing them to soak in a soothing water and relax weary, cluttered minds. Bergamot is a refreshing and fragrant oil to re-energize you when you're feeling run down.
I absolutley adore the smell of this little bath ballistic. It smells like apples! It's not a huge crazy in your nose smell its a subtle perfumey apple goodness. Compared to most the bath bombs for instance Big blue So white is much smaller but don't judge!
I felt that this bath bomb lasted much longer than others I've used like Jacko, the smell in the bath wasn't really that strong but still nice and it left the bath water kind of milky and white but not a 'snowfall' as lush describes it. I felt really mosturised after this bomb too and I'm hoping to stock up on these when I'm next at lush if they still have some! This could quiet possibly be my fave bath ballistic out of the one's I've tried so far.
Dream Cream 240g £9.60
Lush's description: Incredibly soothing body lotion for troubled skin. Dream Cream is Lush's best-selling product because it makes sore skin feel good again. Chamomile and lavender calm irritations, reduce redness and banish blotches. We've also included soothing oat milk, too. It contains everything nature makes for soothing your skin.
So I received a smaller tub of this cream as part of my Lush raffle prize and it's one of the best selling products.
I like that this lotion is multi purpose...hand and body, I think its really moisturising however it does feel greasy on my hands but everywhere else it's fantastic and the greasyness from your hands will obviously fade and leave your hands feeling nice and soft. I don't get red or irrated skin alot (except sometimes on my face) so I can't tell you how well it works in that sense yet. The smell is interesting...to me the strongest scent is of lavender which is one of my faves.
I'll be doing many more lush reviews and hauls in the future. I know for a fact that alot of my christmas presents are from Lush! yay. And hopefully I'll be shopping there on saturday too.
What are you guys expecting for christmas?
