Recent purchases Garnier, H&M, Naked, The Body shop

I'm trying not to shop much as I want to save up but as I'm doing a swap with the lovely Andrea of course I keep seeing thing's I want! Here's what I have picked up recently...
 H&M 'Lipgloss' £1.99
More of a lipbalm in my eyes but how cute is the packaging?! I'm clearly a sucker for cute packaging. Smells like a typical cherry balm. They also have orange and apple flavours too.

Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter RRP £8.00
Pretty much a conditioning treatment. It's eco concious, containing no silcones, colourants and parabens and is full of pracaxi oil, manketti nut oil and honey.
I will do a blog post about this in the future as I'm loving it!
Naked 2 Palette RRP £36.00 but I got mine on offer.
This was one of those compulsive purchases, I'm sure I'll be making use of it more than the first one as I like the colours in this palette better.
Garnier 2 in 1 Make up remover and toner. I got them for 2 for £4 as I had money to spend after returning my Collection 2000 concealer (oh how I wish they had more colours). These are currently on 3 for 2 in boots. I got them as sadly my Bioderma cleanser is running low.
Annnnd that's about it! Well I do have some thing's from Zara but I need to figure out how to capture the prettiness of them. What have you been buying lately?

15th Anniversary Urban Decay eyeshadow palette

All pictures are taken from Temptalia

How beautiful? From the packaging to the range of colours, I adore it! The 15 shades are all new, I really like the mixture of colours, you have shades you can wear during the day for more natural looks but also brighter colours. This palette is already on sale in the USA for $55 and it's also out now in the UK. You can read more about it and see some swatches here.

I will most definitely be buying this, will you?

Urban Decay Summer of Love Nail kit.

I got this gorgeous little set for Christmas,'Summer of love' what a cute name and the colours definitely feel summery.
It has 7 tiny 5ml mini nail polishes.
I was quiet excited to try them but forgot to take a picture whilst they were still in the case.
Above picture from Debenhnams and also available to buy for £17.50

It is said that All of our colours are formulated without toluene, formaldehyde, or DBP which is a huge plus as those are nail polish badies.
DBP or 'dibutyl phthalate' is a plasticizer that makes nail polish flexible. Toluene is a colourless liquid used as a solvent. And Formaldehyde helps harden nails... It's also a cheap preservative used in shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and children's bubble bath.

Skin Deep  (popular online safety guide).  Show that DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde have the same high hazard score of 10 which is the highest. It is also said that these ingredients are linked to cancer, developmental/reproductive toxicity and allergies.

Some of them require two coats such as Aquarius (electric teal), Love Light (baby pink sparkle) and maybe even Shine On (beige sparkle) which can be annoying especially as your using more polish and its only 5ml to start off with but the pay off is worth it.
Aquarius is a gorgeous colour (I love teal!) and Hashbury is pretty nice too (Orchid purple)

Colours in this set that I adore for instance Woodstock (bright pink) and Psychedelic Sister (Bright Coral) A downer is that they aren't sold individually in bigger sized bottles.

Overall I like that they are free of hazardous chemicals, the little case they come in is cute and great for storage and there's plenty of room to add other things into it or I'm thinking of using it for make up. I think at £17.50 there pricey but it's a great way to try new colours without having to buy big bottles.
I personally don't think I'd repurchase the set although there is some pretty colours (especially woodstock) there's not enough that make me think OHMY I neeeed. I feel like I could easily find dupes too. I really think Urban Decay should sell individual polishes as I'd definitely repurchase a couple of them but just not the set.
I'll eventually do some pictures of the different colours on my nails so keep a look out (the lighting at the moment is rubbish so I gave up on nail pictures.)

It's so pretty!

I'm late on the Urban Decay Naked palette but although it's sold out everywhere I had to turn to ebay for one so I have one on the way now! Little after clicking that bid button I realised it's not limited edition in the USA which is where I am now so I could have got one for the RRP price! ah welll.

Another UD palette I'm thinking of getting is the Book of shadows Vol III NYC pallette. I love (LOVE) the USA so it's a great tribute.

It's beautiful! I have the Alice In wonderland palette and compared to that one this seems to have a bigger variety of different and brighter colours and the detail in the 'NYC' is amazing.
In the US it's out after Labor day on urban decay.com and October the 1st everywhere else. (Apparently) and in the UK it's already available for 30 pounds on debenhams.com!
I'm really drawn to getting this one, I like that it's city inspired...I'd love to see a Cali palette.
Anyone else have either of the palettes?

Alice In wonderland OPI + Urban decay Collabaration

Oh how I'm a fan of the classic Alice In Wonderland Movie, I absolutely can't wait for the 3D directed by Tim Burton and released by Disney version to be out, I'm really looking forward to it, I know it's going to be incredible.
In tribute to this movie there's been a lot of designers and brands producing Alice themed amazingness.
For instance OPI's limited edition range..

So we have (from left to right)
  • Thanks so muchness- A berry red, with subtle micro glitter.
  • Mad as a hatter- Clear base Multi-glitter (defo suit's the name) this one screams parties although I'd wear it anyway!
  • Absolutley Alice (NEED- I'd say this is a fave) this one, it's blue based and packed with gold and blue micro glitter.
  • Off with her red- Classic bright red.
I love the names, I think I'll be getting all four for sure, they have already been released..I'm browsing online for them right now...anyone know of UK site's that stock OPI?

....Next Urban Decay Alice In wonderland Palette kit.
I've known about this product for a while now but because I didn't know if the release date I had was right thus I haven't mentioned this until now as I really need to express how incredible this is.

This palette has 16 of the best selling superbly pigmented eyeshadows with name's like 'white rabbit', 'Alice' and 'Curiouser'. A mini version of the legendary primer potion and two 24/7 eyeliner pencils. This amazing creation is out in the US on the 15th!!!! for $57. Unfortunately I don't have a clue when it's out in the UK yet =/ but it's VERY limited product and apparently only 2000 are going to be sold in the UK.  You can look at swatches and more info here.

Can't wait to get my hand's on both OPI and UD products, and their making me even more excited for the movie (child at heart haha). Is anyone else looking forward to these products or even the movie itself?
