Smile like you mean it....

My hair: A mess
Lipstick: Mac Hot Gossip and Viva Glam Gaga
Eyeliner: Illamasqua Precision Liquid liner
Blusher: Mac Mocha
Scarf: Knitted by my Boyfriends lovely mum!

Loving:
The Christmas feeling, I enjoy work more during this season (crazily) maybe because it's soo busy it fly's by. Yes there's awful people but there's nice ones too! I saw an actual coca cola truck at an asda car park..I was like a small excited child at this citing! Then my friend saw it again broken down (stole the pic from him!). I didn't even think they existed except for the use off adverts! Magical!

Not loving: The cold... the snow looks lovely, but it gets boring after a while and causes all kinds of problems! Icy paths and delayed trains. no thanks! I was saying I'd like there to be TONS of snow or none at all.

Brrrrrr

It's soooooo damn cold! I hate it. This is what I fancy right now...

I'm sooo picky with hot chocolates though, I don't seem to like the instant stuff, starbucks is my absolute fave. Anyone else feel the same way?
Loving...

Christmas lights! Leeds is looking so lovely right now.

Graze with me.

I heard about Graze a long time ago, thought it was a cool concept but never got round to ordering a box. Maybe that was because I wasn't as bothered about eating healthier then, however now I've joined the gym and I'm getting back into a regime I thought it might be a good idea. I ordered on Sunday night and got my box on the next available day which was Wednesday. You can pick which day's you'd like the box to be delivered.

The box and booklets are made from sustainable sources and are both biodegradable and recyclable. The Punnets that the nibbles come in are made from 80% recycled content and can also be recycled with plastics. I like their ethics and that they share this too on the packaging as sometimes not everything can be recycled.
Personalisation, nice touch! These two booklets were really cute and handy the 'how to eat:..' booklet had loads of 'fact tips' and the other booklet is based on your Graze box, it tells you what kind of box you ordered and the nutritional information of the nibbles. On the back again there's info about their packaging and recycling.
Above..the yummy nibbles picked out for me. On the plastic boxes there's info on what's inside it and let's you know where to look for use by dates and again mentions recycling information.
On the website if you choose a 'nibblebox' you can browse through all the yummy goodness and click 'bin' for the things you don't like so for me all olives were 'bined', 'try' for anything you want to try and I added 'like' or 'love' as well as 'try soon' to the ones I know I liked and wanted to try asap which I ended up getting in my box!
You can also choose boxes such as 'energybox'- low gi, 'wellbeingbox'-foods highest in nutrients and 'eatwellbox'-everything that's good. If you choose one of these boxes a nutritionist picks out what go's into it.

I absolutely love the packaging, if you pick out the plastic punnets from the box this picture peeks through.
 Random!? haha
I love it when companies make it easy to contact them
I hope I eat less cake too!

Overall I really like the idea of this, I like the way it's all presented, the packaging and booklets are quirky and different and there's a huge choice of nibbles. The website is easy to use and there's tons of information on not only the product but why grazing is good for your health and how it can help you loose weight, boost immunity etc.
I'm a sucker for chocolate/cake anything sweet and bad but I think I'll be reaching for my graze box more often than that stuff as there's bits of chocolate in some of the selections which is perfect to kill those cravings. I think in the long run if i stick to it, it could actually help me become healthier and help with my goal of loosing weight.
With a promotional code I got my first box for free and then the next one is half price. The normal price for a
box is £3.49 including packaging. For a free Graze Box type in QFQG9NN3.
Enjoy!

Pretty Little things

My mum went shopping and came back with these gems. I was really surprised as I can be really hard to shop for and my mum normally gets it wrong haha, but not this time!

01. Leopard Print Bows and flower clips, adorable.
02. Charm Bracelet from Matalan. Not a big fan of gold but this is too cute, I love the little mug and cupcake charm.
03. My favourite, I love love love these. She got me these three bangles from Debhanams and each one has buttons in them, with the odd quirky ones thrown in. Super cute.

I tried changing my blog layout the other day, but failed. I used to be so good at html back in the myspace days, but I really can't do it any more. I think the problem I had was finding a layout to fit my excessively huge pictures, so I instead tried to just add a background but it wouldn't work with the layout html I already have.
I give up on it for now but if anyone has any suggestions I'd really like to to hear them!

Leeds Vintage Fair

On Sunday I had a day off work so my lovely friend and I went to Judy's Vintage fair held at Leeds University.
I've always wanted to go to one but whenever they are held it's normally a Sunday and have work every weekend, but I managed to get the day off and there was no way I was going to miss it.

I unfortunately didn't get a chance to take a lot of pictures, but it was a great trip. We paid £1 to get in (hence the stamped hand) and we got a free totebag which was perfect to put purchases in and a tropical lipbalm.
The room was packed full of stalls mainly clothes but also jewellery and bags, a little too packed for my liking especially with so many people about sometimes it was hard to look at things and get around the place.
I ended up getting a argan kinda cardigan and a scarf which I'll blog about later.
My friend and I enjoyed walking around Leeds University, it's so pretty.

First OOTD

Okay so although I finally got myself a tripod I still can't get outfit pictures right, quiet frustrating. I took so many pictures but they were either too close or far or there was something just not right. I'm also a terrible poser, I never know what to do with myself haha. In the end I gave up and this is the picture I have. Sorry it's not all that good and ignore the face.

- All Saints top
-Zara leggings (which I adore.)
- Matalan Jacket
-Topshop bag

I'm loving my Matalan jacket at the moment, it keeps me amazingly warm, the inside is lined with soft warm lovelyness. Today has been such a crappy day, university was okay, boring nonetheless and then I went to Leeds and had a browse around the shops but it has been raining constantly so my hair is a fluffy mess and I had a bag full of books weighing me down...shoulder achee. Glad I'm inside now though it's pouring down now and it sound's  awfully windy too.

Barry M Instant Nail Effects look two and tips.

Okay so the Barry M Instant Nail Effects Polish seems to be a hit or miss with most people which is understandable. I personally love it. Each to their own huh?

In my previous post I tried it with a base coat of pink. This time I tried it with white, I initially thought the contrast of black and white would look good and possibly give a zebra kinda print.
This was the result..

I noticed that the least amounts of 'sweeps' of the instant effects polish gave a more consistent pattern for instance my pinky finger above. But it's quiet difficult to just do one sweep of polish on bigger nails.

I also found that the amount of polish you put on will vary how cracked up and vibrant the pattern is.
For example on two of my fingers I felt I didn't put enough polish on but as I'm not supposed to overlap I didn't go over it and it resulted in a smaller cracked up pattern as below.

Less in your face and much more subtle than the other nails.
Gosh these pictures just made me realise how my fingers look like they belong to an old person haha.
What do you guy's think of the instant effects?

Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween, I wish I was in the US for it though...it seems much more of a bigger thing over there so it'd be amazing to experience. I had 0 trick or treater's visit =( leaving me with a yummy but fattening pile of chocolate.
I did however carve a pumpkin...
Second one I've ever done so it's not all that good but I like my Jack pumpkin.
I went to a vintage fair earlier today as well (finally) shall blog about it later and then watched Hocus Pocus and The Witches..classics!
Hope everyone has had a good day/night.
